30 Days of Night
In 2001, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT took the comics world by storm. This unknown little 3-part miniseries by Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith also established IDW Publishing as a comics publisher of the highest quality, and signaled their efforts to offer mature fare as an alternative to superhero comics. 30 DAYS itself was then the subject of a fierce bidding war in Hollywood, and is now in development as a major motion picture. After the initial miniseries, Niles & Templesmith returned with DARK DAYS, and then offered up a second miniseries, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: RETURN TO BARROW. The 30 Days universe is a rich, thriving one, and one that Niles has returned to yet again in 2004. The latest 30 Days miniseries is 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: DEAD SPACE.
MATURE READERS Most of these books are recommended for readers over the age of 18.
